After a short career under the name of Fex (1944 ), this new production from Fritz Kaftanski was named Superfex (1945) . This is a small size format, 4 x 6.5 ( 127 film ) . At first glance , it is somewhat of a "dwarf" Ultra- Fex. Unlike the latter , the lens of the Superfex is not mounted on a retractable tube (see the patent for extracting the tube).
Its shutter has a single speed (1/30 sec) and time exposure . Its lens is a meniscus .
His career was quite long, from the end of the Second World War until the mid- 50s. Several versions were produced .
This version 4 has, as all the first versions , a flat viewfinder, the attachment of the decorative plate by screws with slotted heads and a lens -Optik Fexar Spec ( K is important).
The knob used for the winding of the film is knurled with a dual strip . The shutter button has a conical shape. The back of the body is held by pressure.
